Email Template formatting

Hi, 

Have create an email template to be sent to clients, on testing realise that when sent to gmail there is no space in between the paragraphs which on outlook looks exactly how its been set in the template. 

Not sure what is going wrong here even tried the format Vardana being common in between gmail and outlook, initially using Arial as a format. 

Any help will be appreciated.
