Posted on by 2,811

Hi All,

I have configured USD 4.0 with Customer Service Hub application. I have a windows navigation rule and but this rule never triggers.

Scenario: when I clicked on the phone number in the contact/account record, it always opens the Cisco Jabber (which is default application on my machine). Since, windows navigation rule suppose to stop it, but its not working.

Window navigation rule is as follows:-

    Hi Zohaib

How can we disable quick create form? If we unchack quick create through entity level, it is opening phone call form.

Is there any way we can disable all phone call form when clicking on number?

    Thanks,

    Mahak

Just to let everyone know above Window Navigation Rule (url - tel:) issue was product issue until USD 4.1.1253 version, it is resolved in latest USD client 4.1.1319 version.

After migration to USD 4.1 having Chrome process, I also noticed many Window navigation rules stopped working properly. My best friend for such case is Hit and Trial and figure out the right one, else change the Hosted type to IE process on Hosted Control.

    Good day Neil,

    Excuse my belated response.

Regarding 1st & 2nd click inconsistent behavior: This inconsistency is common in the entire application for all the entities. Quick workaround is to disable Quick Create from the customization, so that behavior will remain consistent no matter how many times user clicks?

    Hi Zohaib

I can confirm that I have also seen this behaviour.

It seems that on UCI forms, when we click the phone icon to make a phone call no window navigation rules are triggered.

I have popup and in place rules defined. For "tel:", "Skype:" and "lync15:". None are triggered from UCI. (These rules used to work with web client.)

Additionally I am noticing that on first click a phone call tab opens. (So full phone call form.) On second click a phone call quick create form opens. So the behaviour of phone call opening is inconsistent.

I have tested on USD 4.0 and the preview version of 4.1.

@kumar Ashutosh .... are you able to add any suggestions?

    Thanks

    Neil

    Thanks for the reply Kumar!

I checked the link earlier, but that solution is not working in the Unified Interface. At the moment, I have no clue why it is not working.
