How to calculate work-in-process and ending work-in-process accurately in Production Control Module

Hi everybody

I would like to ask about how AX system can calculate work-in-process cost and ending work-in-process cost in single production order

With my knowledge, we need to end production order to record financial amount of picking list journal, route card...=> accumulate to Work-in-process cost ( or Manufacturing cost) . However, if we end production order, system also allocate all value to Cost of goods manufactured at the same time. => In the system, there are no middle step to calculate ending work-in-process

In other hand, if we  just only report as finish the production order. The manufacturing cost will be accumulated from physical amount. And I think it is not correct.

Have you ever faced with this situation?  Please help me explain

Thanks you guys very much
