Hello,

I got an issue of Ax Conguration with Retail. When I try to connect to Retail Store Connect or AOS from Testing conection into Ax the system show me this error...

Can't create a COM object from 'TransAutomClient.ConnCtrl' class. Be sure that has been registered correctly in the computer ...

I'll be gratefull if anyone knows how fix it.

Thanks.

This is the error you see when the Retail Store Connect is not installed.

RSC needs to be installed on the AOS and all clients that runs the Retail Scheduler.

See also page#42 in the Deployment and Installation Guide.pdf.

    Hey Alexander,

I'm using AX 2009 Retail and a bit new to this application.

Did you get a solution to your problem. Unfortunately i have a pretty much same scenario. on Test connection or while running retail scheduler jobs, i get the same annoying error message.

On the retail scheduler form, under Object setup tab, Name field = DRMReplicationJob_DataDirector.

When I try to debug, Class/DRMDataDirector is unable to get initialized. New method of this class gets called and throws above error message.

Could it be an installation issue or am I missing any setup/ parameter.

PS- Have verified retail store connect service is up and running and am using the AOS machine where RSC is installed.

Any help on this would be highly appreciated.

    /Nik

    Hi,

Make sure that Headquarter component is installed in that machine.

    Hope this helps.
