Is there a Planning roll-up fix for NAV 5 SP1

Posted on by 65

I'm aware that NAV 5 SP1 included a re-write of the Planning/MRP/MPS functionality but I have a client site using NAV 5 SP1 that is displaying inexplicable Planning Worksheet results.

The symptoms seem similar to issues from 5.00 and I can see that there are some small rapid hotfixes for 5 SP1 but nothing that address the exact issue.

On Mibuso there is reference to an roll-up planning fix - does this exist?

    Sorry, because you said "roll-up FIX" I assumed you were asking for the fix of the planning rollup and not for the rollup itself :-)

    After some more digging and some assistance from MS here is a link to the update:

    Thanks for the response.

    In the prerequisite section of the article is the text:

    ================

    You must have Microsoft Dynamics NAV 5.0 Service Pack 1, 2009 or 2009 Service Pack 1 with Planning Update Rollup installed to apply this hotfix.

    ================

    It is the Planning Update Rollup I'm looking for but can't find.

    I permanently keep track of application hotfixes and I am aware of only one planning update fix: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/974287/en-us
