
Dear Team,
On Friday 16th April, I changed a User's personal contact details within Microsoft 365 admin center. Changes I made as below;
Display Name
Username
Email
First Name
Last Name
The reason we did this was we has recently set up a new role with specific permissions but the original user left so we just changed their profile in admin (which admin facilitates) rather than deleting and adding a new one.
The new user's account has changed everywhere apart from Outlook inbox, as below;
And the Teams chat still states the old username although the logged in icon states that they are signed in as the new.
It's been over 48 hours as stated in all the troubleshooting online, is there anything else I need to do to speed up the changes?
