I am unable to update picking list as it gives error that Inventory does not exist at site & location of product. despite the fact that it does. How can I overcome that error?

Are you using F&O or AX?
Enable the physical negative inventory in item model group. It is not recommended to enable it.
If just location, you can uncheck the physical inventory in storage dimension group.
Enabling negative inventory is not a solution. Is the item batch controlled? Your on-hand form shows available physical qty at the site/location you are picking from?
