Hi All
A customer is active in event management. To plan, invoice and analyze these events he aims to use the Project Management Module in D365.For the events he uses items from his inventory. Once the event is over, the items need to be returned to inventory (only in rare cases they would be consumed/sold). Also they need to be maintained afterwards.
Has anybody had a similar case? What would be the best way to set up the project module/items?

Good afternoon,
I would use for that a project item journal combined with the reservation functionality.
As the "use" is not a consumption you can reserve the item, and then release this reservation making the inventory item available again.

Does your customer apply any charges for the use of the items or are they issued at zero cost just for tracking purposes?
