Hi,

Is anyone aware if Microsoft have/or intend to release new updates for NAV (all versions) to include functionality to cover the VAT posting changes brought in by the Stability Law 2015 in Italy.

I gave a quick look at the new regulations and, as per my understanding, the only requirement that needs an update from MS is the new yearly VAT declaration.

The remaining law changes (extension of reverse charge, new VAT percentages, split payment) can be fulfilled with different VAT posting setup and applied using the VAT Rate Change function available from NAV 2013 RTM.

For NAV version 2009 the mainstream support is ended so there will no tax updates to this release, but if you are on later versions i.e. 2013 or above then please check the CU it will have the latest tax updates
