Web Services' OData URLs Are Not Correct

Hi Team,

I have been noticing this issue for a while. The OData URLs of lots of tables in ‘Web Services’ now all become https://businesscentral.dynamics.com/10333be4-6a7e-41e3-a272-c2a11625f23e/?runinframe=1#.

For example, when I want to load the Object 768 below through OData URL, I can only get the URL above, which is definitely not a correct OData access.

 OData-URL-is-wrong.jpg

Now we are only able to load tables through OData access if they are loaded way before, when the correct URLs were still there and saved by us locally.

I have the same question (0)

Bizarrely I've noticed that if you click on the url for the ODATA feed (and let it open up a new tab) the url in the new tab's address bar is correct.

I've noticed the same many times in D365BC wave2 on Premises,  if you click the ODATA wrong URL will open, instead of that try below option (it  worked for me)

    1) Copy Paste the URL in notepad

    2) copy from notepad to address bar

    Thanks

    Marshal

That's true but this is the url that opens the real url. Try click on this and you should see the correct WS url page opened in a new window.

    Url format should be:

    api.businesscentral.dynamics.com/.../ws_name

    Hi Stefano,

Unfortunately this way does not work us. It will not open up any new web pages by clicking it, either opening it to a new tab, or copy and paste the url into a new window.

    Is there any other workaround?

    Ah. That's unfortunate.

If you send the whole list to excel are the resulting urls correct or not?

Please try to paste the url manually. A WS url has the following format:

    api.businesscentral.dynamics.com/v2.0/TENANT_ID/Production/ODataV4/Company('YOURCOMPANYNAME')/WSNAME

where WSNAME is the name of your published object.

Append https:// at the beginning of the url.

    Hi Jidl,

Yea the workaround I all of sudden found out was to select a table and click the 'Open in Excel'. The downloaded Excel file will show the correct url.
