Full database Synchronization wiping out custom tables form MSSQL server

Hello,

I created a new VM and trying to update database with recent one from UAT. I build all models and their dependencies. When I log into UI its showed Contoso data. I coped database from UAT to new VM. I saw that copied database had custom tables etc. After build all models without any errors I did full database sync. Somehow custom tables are gone from copied database. Can you please advice why its doing that and I tried many times.

Thanks!

I have the same question (0)

Does the gone custom table exists in the AOT? If not then that explains why it gone from database.

    Hi Dina,

Are you sure there's not a custom module missing? Are the tables missing in SQL related in any way? By that I mean, are they all from the same model?

Yes, it does exists in AOT.

I made sure custom model exists before doing a full model build

    Hi Dina,

Are the models on both environments the same? Are you sure you have models on the new VM and not only runtime packages?

How can I check if models on VM as well in runtime packages? Thank you

When I full build models I see the custom model. As well in the K:\AosService\PackagesLocalDirectory

When you copied the database, this would include possible ISV license codes and configuration key settings. So, there should be some tables missing in the AOT when you perform a new build. Can you probably add some screenshots to illustrate your exact issue?

Actually, I was missing some custom assemblies. Adding them then doing full model build and full database sync worked. Thank you for your help
