InventValueReportTmpLine cleanup (AX 2012 R3)

Hi I Have an implementation where the InventValueReportTmpLine has almost 74M Lines

I was wondering can I truncate that Table?

it Looks like every time I start the Inventory Value Report it creates a new Transaction ID, it deletes transaction that belong to that ID (do thay exists at all?)

when the report is finished, the records stay in the table.

    The Developer documentation of the table says that the table is used by the inventory value report as a temporary storage for report lines.

    Looking at the code, it seems that the table is supposed to be cleaned up every time the report is printed. Did you customize the report logic or create your own report which populates data in this table?

    Anyway I would assume you can truncate the table. You should of course verify this in a test system first.

    There is a cleanup, but what will it help when you transactionID change every time

    InventValueReportCleanup public void run()

    {

       InventValueReportTmpLine inventValueReportTmpLine;

       InventValueReportTmpLedgerLine inventValueReportTmpLedgerLine;

       delete_from inventValueReportTmpLine

           where inventValueReportTmpLine.TransactionId == inventValueReportContract.parmTransactionId();

       delete_from inventValueReportTmpLedgerLine

           where inventValueReportTmpLedgerLine.TransactionId == inventValueReportContract.parmTransactionId();

    Hi Dick,

    Have you used the debugger to find out if the transaction ID is changing over and over and indeed causing this error?
