    Hi,

It seems that, you have tried installing multiple NAV versions and hence creating the issue.

Better you remove complete NAV Installations from your system and start fresh installation (Choose Demo Installation option). Also use the NAV 2013 upgraded license in the same.

    Hi,

Are you already using Nav on that machine?

if yes please uninstall the previous version and reboot the machine after un-install it.

Try uninstalling NAV first and install it again. Then, try uploading your license (msdn.microsoft.com/.../dd338774(v=nav.70).aspx ). If ok, you should see the message: "The Server license was successfully uploaded". Then, restart the development environment to activate the license. Restart all Microsoft Dynamics NAV Server instances to activate the license for clients (refer to Managing Microsoft Dynamics NAV Server Instances for more information).

The easy way to resolve you problem:

    1.) Open the dev environment

2.) Go to file -> database -> change

3.) Set "Save licence in database" to true (tab integration).

    4.) Upload you licence again

5.) Restart the service via windows services and not the administration toolkit

Now you can connect to your database. The administration tool will be broken untill you reinstall correctly or follow this:

    best regards

    Hey Katana,

If you will try to Resolve this issue then could be many more like this waiting for you. There are many reasons for such Issues specially the one you are facing at the Administration level. Issues like Adobe installation(Some DLL missing), .NET Frameworks Prerequisite mismatch or missing and many more. So the easiest way to resolve this issue is to Simply re-Install NAV(You can try Repairing but fresh Installation will be better). Once NAV gets Installed, UPLOAD your License and Restart your Service.

Note -  Every Time you upload License you need to Restart the Service and it's mandatory otherwise it wont get applied.

Hopefully this will resolve your problem.

    Thanks

Check windows event log for any strange behaviors during the installation. If you have multiple NAV installations available, do remove them and install Dynamics NAV from scratch. Addition to that once you upload the license file to server, it is mandatory to restart the service.
