Dynamics Nav 2017 instance suddenly using more than 80% CPU...

I've got a very big problem with a Dynamics Nav 2017 instance. This instance is only used to call ODATA web services, it provides information to our .NET applications and it Works ok until this instance shoots the cpu usage to very high 80 to 100%. At this moment the instance can not work properly and logically all our programs gives TIMEOUT ERROR and it occurs until we restart the instance...

Our .NET programs call web services and wait for the information, we can not do anything there and we can not debug the instance (this is a exe program developed by Microsoft), then what can I do? Can somebody help me I do not know what to do...

    You can make use SQL Profiler for your analysis as well.

    can you check and confirm to upgrade ram to 12 GB

    hope you are using vmware :P

    Hi Amol.

    Thank you for your help. We will change the design of our application and we will try to isolate web services and make logs and view wich web service is the last called when the cpu shoot their use to high percentages.

    Check whether any customozed report or any processes which is taking more cpu or memory

    As well as check any sql job is running

    Hi Maneesha, thanks for your help.

    I think the harware specs. of our server are more than enough, i has 12 virtual processors, and 8 gb. memory, normally is working between 1 and 5% of CPU capacity and memory not goes beyond than 65% of use.

    But suddenly it shoots to 98 or 100% of cpu usage and the responsable process is Microsoft Dynamic NAV Server.
