I don't see Financial Statements link in General ledger setup ax 2012

Hi All,

I am using Contoso Demo account Ax2012R3 for practice. I am not able to see the "Financial Statements" link in General Ledger Setup however, through help wizard been able to see Row definition form etc. Same is the case in report section no link to generate reports

Could anyone help me please how can I make it visible in General Ledger setup and report sections?

Check you security roles firstly and you can check this menu enabled or not

hi Abrar

check privilege LedgerBalanceSheetDimMaintain enable property :yes

and menu item LedgerBalanceSheetDim exists in this privilege as shown below

if this privilege enabled, then you can check licence configuration

as shown below

Hi Abrar,

From what you describe it seems that you want to use the so-called traditional financial statements.

They can be made available by activating the respective configuration key in the system admin module.

If you need those 'old' financial statements then please talk to one of your system admins first because at the time you select the configuration key, AX will ask you to synchronize the database, which might take a while.

However, rather using these old and less powerful financial reports, why is it that you do not make use of the Management Reporter? There should be a link available at the very top of your GL report section that opens Management Reporter and allows you design great financial statement reports yourself.

Hi Lidwig,

Please see the screen short above how it looks like in my computer. I can't see Management Reporter as well. I just wanted to do some practice on Financial Statements setup and generation.

The Management Reporter link should be available right below the Report heading, which I cannot see from your screenprint above.

Can you double check that?

I have checked licence configration GL, Gl advanced and GL advancedII all items are checked.

I have different properties of LedgerBalanceSheetDimMaintain in AOT securities entry point
