I have an interesting requirement, might be experts are more easily understand this and share some solution.
One of the CFO is super busy and wants us to do this.
Can approver able to approve POs by email without having to log onto the system. Like a reply approved kind of email or button. Is that going to be possible?

That should be possible with a Power App & Flow. (Power Automate)
Yes , That is possible if you use Power automate and create a flow.
You need to do this with using business event of that workflow in power automate.

it was possible in ax 2012 by a web link (customization), I am not sure if it is possible on d365 but worth to try.
