New Editing Experience & business rules

In the new editing experience, I'm not able to get my business rules working. They work fine in the previous experience. In testing I've stripped down a business rule to a simple hide\show but it just won't trigger. I've followed the provided instructions for making sure the fields in the rule appear in both the Email Properties form & the New Editing Experience form. Are business rules even possible in the new editor?

    Hi,

    I've been pursuing this with Microsoft and finally on Friday, April 8th I received this reply..

    Our PG team appreciated that you highlighted this issue and said there isn't currently anyway to change the visibility of Email Editor fields using business rules.
    Our PG team as marked this issue as an know issue and started investigating the possibility to support such behavior and it will be supported in the future update, unfortunately we don’t have an ETA for the fix.

    Meanwhile, it's possible to change the visibility of elements according to other fields value like requested in customer's recording.
    They will need to use webresources. The event context passed to event handlers contains the side panel elements.

    So where previously it was a simple drag and drop within the business rule editor, now it is jscript in a webresource.
