We have a sign up form on the website and it brings contacts into CRM. How do we put these contacts into a segment in order to send out a marketing email?

Myself, I'd add one more thing here: in order to be compliant, you need to ensure that consent was gathered in this form and translated to the Marketing app. Whether this is GDPR, CCPA or any other regulations, good practice is to ensure that you're sending marketing emails only to those who have agreed on that.
