Hello,

We are running AX 2012 R3 CU8 and I get an error each time I copy data from stagging to target when Account field has details about the financial dimension (i.e. : 4090-OHD--21-OHD-8000.04).

The error is "Financial dimension 0 does not exist."

I have read quite a lot of posts about it. It seems it was a known issue in previous version, but now the code in AX seems to be the same as the one that was proposed to fix it.

Anybody has a clue please ?

What is your accounting structure configuration.. You have to provide the segment entry as per accounting structure sequence.

Like - if your accounting structure is like below

Main Account -> Cost center -> dept

0001-Dept09-Cost09

do you have any advanced rule setup under accounting structure. Please check and confirm.

This issue is fixed in Cu9.

I have already checked it and it is ok. When I enter the dimensions manually in the journal in the same order, the system says it is ok.

Here is the issue please go to \Classes\DMFDimensionHelper\generateDynamicDimension

and put the debugger on line

118(in my enviroment) --> dimensionValue = [dimValueString,conPeek(dimAttributeList,1),name];

and check the sequence in container dimAttributeList, you have to set the value in same sequence.

Please check and confirm.

So I did what you say, and after the line 118, there is a loop (from line 122 to 131). And when it exits the loop, here are some values of the containers :

The dimensionValue container is then used in DMFDimensionHelper::getAccountId and it seems that is where I have a problem with the lines with a 0.

It looks me you have issue in setup, Dimension name is not getting mapped with dimension value. you can see dimension are missing (means attribute name) against dimension value. It showing as zero value here. hope ledger setup is defined in your box.

It looks me dimAttributeList container null. can you check.

As it is on my screen shot, it only contains the value "MainAccount".

Hi Nicolas,

I agree with Bhaskar that it looks like you have some setup work to do. Please double check that your Dimension Format setup in "Source file formats" matches your input value.
