Hello experts,

I need help figuring out why we are getting a different value when we call TIME from our Lanham e-ship miniforms (scan guns) as opposed to TIME within Nav app UI itself. I don't know where else to look. The time zone set up in the Nav server/client is the same as the time zone in SQL server. So I am really confused.

Thoughts?

HI Stefano! I figured it out! IT was because the time zone in the service field of the Microsoft Dynamics Nav Administration <service> was set up at UTC. I changed it to server time zone. NOw, everything is okay. The miniforms uses ADCS service and once I changed to server time zone in the Nav administration, the sql server time zone and Nav service time zone now syncs.

When do you say TIME from your miniforms, are you saying that you’re reading the time via SQL? If so, remember that in NAV the date is stored as UTC value, so there’s also the time zone.
