Dynamics NAV 2013 R2 to 2016: Upgrading Application Code

Hi all,

I'm at the phase of upgrading Application Code from 2013 R2 to 2016. I got stuck at the step of preparing text files (OldBaseVersion.txt).

How to export application objects from Old database excluding System Tables, because from what I found out there is no Export-NAVApplicationObject cmdlet in NAV 2013 R2 Development Shell.

Can anyone guide me on this?

    Hi,

You can export all objects from developer environment manually.

But if you want to export via powershell you can do it from administration shell using cmdlet Export-navapplication.

If you need any help in auto merge utilities read it here -

Let us know if any questions.

    Hi Saurav,

For exporting via Developer environment manually,  do I need to do  exclude system tables?

Also..Export-NAVapplication is missing in my version of Development Powershell
