Purchase order confirmation and Receive buttons are not enabled after creating a Purchase order

We have just uploaded master data (clients, vendors, items) and we are currently testing the environment. Our problem is we can't neither confirm a purchase order, nor receive it. After creating the Purchase order, confirmation and Receive buttons are disabled. Purchase type is set to Purchase order, so we don't know what could be the problem.

Any ideas?

Hi,

Probably change management is activated. In that case you need to setup a workflow and approve the order before you are able to confirm it.

Try checking your vendor status, is it on hold or not.

If change management is not enabled I think you may need to just write a script to ensure that status of the purchase orders and lines are set to Approved.

i think the issue related to the purchase Type

Please Change it from Journal to Purchase Order

Hi,

Please check if this is a Purchas order as type or Journal? from PO header.

Make sure to change this to Purchase Order, it should solve your issue.
