How to find a number sequence in AX 2012?

Hello,

What's the best way to find a number sequence? I go to Organization administration -> Common -> Number sequences -> Number sequences to find a list of all of the number sequences but a lot of them aren't very descriptive.

For example, using the demoData from Microsoft, if I am using the CEC company and create a new general journal and click on 'lines' to enter transactions, a voucher number is automatically generated.

How am I able to know which number sequence generates the value for the voucher number in a journal?

    Assuming it has not changed (BIG assumption) the voucher number is held against the journal, in the setup and journal names. Also all parameter tables will have a number sequence tab (well they did) to reference this by module.

    Another way to find number seq is go through parameter forms for each module and then do a go main table to find more details about the number seq
