During the R3 launch event an upcoming mobile app for production entry / shop floor control was mentioned and only a screen shot was shared. I asked the question on availability and was told m 1, 2014 with release of R3. I can find no mention of it anywhere. Has it been released?

HI,

Yes, there should be a new app for Shop floor control. You can read it in this document: www.slideshare.net/.../33389322

I have not checked if and where it is already available.

The links in the answer from Rudra are not working for me. @Rudra, can you check these?

Those links only address Expense Management, Timesheets, and Workflow Approvals which were all available prior to the R3 Event.
The link Andre Arnaud de Calavon provided refers to it and includes the only image of it on the bottom half of page 17.

As part of AX 2012 R3 we have one Warehouse mobile portal functionality, may be you are looking for this.

Hi,

The link I provided is a "preview" document. I read something about availability in the en-us store. It is also possible that it has not been or not yet released. The what's new on Technet for R3 does not mention the new apps. technet.microsoft.com/.../dn600262.aspx

I cannot find the app in my (local) windows store.

There is also no new whitepaper on installing the companion apps. www.microsoft.com/.../details.aspx

@Nithesh, great to see other people are actually reading my blogs :-) In this case I think this person is looking for the new shop floor app (manufaturing execution). The warehouse portal is another new feature.

I had contact with Microsoft. The app is indeed announced and is expected to be released in the US Store (change language of your machine if it is not English) within one or two weeks.

Thank You again Andre. Thus far you are the only person who provided a link to one Microsoft document that talks about and even has a screen shot of the App. I continue to check the store but to this point no App has been added.

Hi Dan,

I came across another blog mentioning this app: blogs.msdn.com/.../microsoft-dynamics-ax-2012-r3-devices-and-services-framework.aspx.

A print screen is added and in a table the shop floor control app is mentioned as planned to be released.
