How to join customer account with main account in AX

Can you please explain the business scenario? You surely don't want to take a random account, so tell us what logical relation you have in mind.

I need to get to know the screens or forms that join both the customer account and main account together.

Hope you get my drift.

It makes no sense without defining which account you want.

The most typical relation I can think of are accounts used for posting invoices and such things, such as Summary account in Customer posting profiles.

What makes me curious to ask this question, is that I just found that everytime I create payment journal with offset account type Ledger, I see that the recid of dimension attribute table is the same everytime I change the customer account, is it most likely rational??

Hi,

As I understand from your question, you are looking for a form in D365 or AX 2012 R3 in which each customer is linked to the main account....

If I am understanding you correct, please have a look at the link -> Sales & Marketing module -> Customers -> All Customers : Select the customer -> Sell tab -> Setup -> Item posting. On this Posting form you will be able to find the Main accounts linked to the selected customer.

Try the same path / link in AX 2012 if not D365.

Thanks a lot, Neeta but i have got something else to figure out in this post. i am wondering if you could get stuck with the creating payment journal with ledger offset account type and i keep getting an error "Financial dimension value XX doesnt exist" as the field recid of the dimension attribute table has no main account. How could i change the dimension attribute table in the payment journal form??

If your question is about "Financial dimension value XX doesn't exist", why did you ask a completely different question? Don't be surprise that people address what you asked...

Please explain your actual problem in detail and change the title to match the topic.

Note that dimension attribute table contains available dimension attributes (such as 'Project'), not dimension attribute values.

we dont use project but what i need to ask about is that if there is a default dimension attribute set for creating payment journal with Ledger offsetaccount type so please lead me to the main form of that setup.
