I am uploading excel templates in Dynamics 365 Sales for various tables.
I followed the instructions given by MS. First, I download the excel template related to the specific table and view. I do some analysis in it and then I upload the excel template back in Dynamics. When I go to the specific view and click on the /Templates/ on the ribbon, I can see the uploaded template, I can open it from there and see the analyses that I created.
I have done it for Opportunities, Leads, Accounts but when I am trying to do the same for table Appointments, I manage to download the excel template related to the Appointments and All appointments view. I also did the analysis in the Excel (pivot) and uploaded the excel template back in Dynamics, for this same Appointments table and the same view. But then, when I navigate to this view in the app and click on the templates on the ribbon, I can not see uploaded template and therefore can't access the analyses I have made.
Does this have to do with table being activity type, since only difference between the tables settings is that? I have tested it with Phone Call table and I run on the same issue also.
I am working with System Admin security role, so it shouldn't be related to the security issues.
