Hi Experts,
We are using the manufacturing execution in D365, my requirements is that we want to only monitor the how much labor hours is spend on particular jobs so we can track that how much time is spending on the job. The objective of using manufacturing execution is to monitor the actual hours consumption only. we are not deal with any labor cost. Only hours.
1 .We have 5 job and each is performing with separate labor but in some cases 5 jobs is being performed by 1 labor
2. To achieve this requirements which type of resource should i use like, human resource, machine or tool etc.
3. Can we achieve our goal with out manufacturing execution.
4. Is it mandatory to use job registration when using the manufacturing execution.
I need your help.
Thanks
1. This is called job bundling, the time spent by the person is distributed over simultaneously running jobs in different flavours: docs.microsoft.com/.../registration-manufacturing-execution
2. You only need a machine. The operator - once registered for manufacturing execution - is automatically a Human resource 'machine', but you will not get time posted to people, but only machines. The employee ID is kept just an attribute of the time recording of the machine.
3. I have difficulties de-ciphering your language and explications about "jobs" and "labor" and cannot fully grasp what your goal is.
4. Yes. Everything registered against Job ID of system, indirect, production or project types.
