Hi,
How can i restrict Send Direct Email option for users. I tried taking away the Email template access but nothing changed.
But will still like users to be able to send emails via outlook as usual.

The switch of Send Direct Email is in the Email tab of the system settings.

We do not have UI and also the option you have shown is not there.
Where else can i remove it, we are on-premise d365 with no UI
We can use Ribbon Workbench to hide the Send Direct Email button.

Add Application Ribbons to the custom solution.
In the Ribbon Workbench, after opening the custom solution, find all Send Direct Email buttons and hide them.
