External Documents option in Universal App?

Hi people,

I'm quite a new developer for Dynamics NAV, so I'll say sorry in advance if there's option I haven't considered that is like an open door to many of you.

To attach and work with external documents (all kinds of filetypes) we normally use ExternalDocuments FactBoxes on pages. I tried to see if this also works with the universal app, specifically in the Tablet client. The factbox does appear, and I am able to select a document or photo that is present on my (Samsung) tablet. However, if I try to upload it to the server I encounter the following error message:

"The operation cannot complete because it uses a feature that is not supported (.NET Framework Interoperability.)"

Does this mean the tablet client is unable to handle generic files at all or is there another method I should be looking into?

I believe you are referring to the Links in the Navision.  Please see the differences and limitations of the Universal App in the following link
