Customer-specific exchange rate

Good morning,

in our business we are using different exchange rate in one currency . unforgantly the system dose not allow us to use two or three exchange rate at the same time.

is it  passable to use different exchange rate customer wise. for example.

Customer one is using 3.7507 USD to SAR 

Customer two using 3.754 USD to SAR 

can we specify exchange rate to each customers

    Hello Salam,

    Never came across such a requirement and honestly, I am not sure if this would be in line with the accounting rules in your country.

    Can you please double check that?

    I am saying this because you could basically manipulate the exchange rate in a way that you use a good rate for the customer with a high open amount, which might make your local SAR sales figure look larger or smaller as you wish. That's not in line with the accounting rules I am familiar with.

    Hi,

    no, there is not a customer-based exchange rate on d365 finance yet. you can set the exchange rate manually on sales orders (fixed exchange rate field). For free text invoices, you are not able to enter rate manually on the standard functionality, we did customization on free text invoce for this purpose.
