Production Picking list journal must assign Batch number automatically

Hi,

I have items configured to be FEFO controlled, therefore, when I create a production order, Picking list journal should assign a batch number automatically when registering material consumption. Automatic BOM consumption is set to be registered at Start of production order with Flushing principle. Yet, picking list journal does not assing the batch number for the BOM components, where do I configure this?

    You ensure reservation is not set to manual in the production parameters, set it to start and then when generating the picking list it will reserve the stock and then post it.

    Thank you very much Steven, your suggestion solved this issue.  I had to change the reservation field to "Start" in the Production order as well, I guess this was because this order was created before changing the configuration in Production control parameters form. Thanks again!

    Hi Steven,

    I have almost the same parameters, the reservation is set to "Release" in the production parameters and my items are all set to a number group which is not manual and has Inventory and Production activation, although when I start the production I still get the error "Inventory dimansion batch must be specified".
