Charts on Dynamics Nav WEB

Hello,

Charts on Dynamics Nav WEB

I'm currently looking to add some charts on the Web Client interface for Dynamics NAV 80.

After some research I found that the only type which should work on the web client is the Business Charts.

So, I did create a business chart, no problem, but it doesn't appear on the web client interface. I also see that it's possible as there is a post : http://www.mibuso.com/forum/download/file.php?id=4598

So I would like to know if there is some setup to do to activate charts on web clients or if there is another way to create this charts.

Bonus points, if it also work on the tablet interface ;-)

Thank you for your help

    hi,

    Charts blocked ?

Did you try with multiple browsers or only with IE ?

If your browser is IE, test security configurations

    Hello,

    Thank you for your answer.

Yes the charts are blocked on the website, don't know why ?

I did test with IE, Chome and Firefox and the card-part don't appear on any of them ...

So not IE's fault this time ;-)

Just had to build a chart myself for a project. I did nothing special and the chart works OK on windows client, web client and tablet client - so: no special configuration is needed.

Is your chart on a role center? Or is it on some other page? If it's on an other page, try moving it to a different spot on the page. (FactboxArea maybe)

No, I tried on the RC ...

For test purpose I also just test on the Microsoft Demo Virtual Machine (NAV 70), and the charts on the president Role Center don't work either ...

But maybe, it start in NAV 71, I don't think Microsoft did post a NAV 80 Demo VM

So I'm clearly doing something wrong ... I keep looking ...

Ok ... I tried on the same setup with a CRONUS Database and it worked ... so it must be an object inside the database that block the system ...

Thanks for the leads you have provided ... :-)

Should I modify a setup table or something to parameter the activation of the charts in the web client?

    Hi Vincent,

We had the same Problem with NAV2016CU1.

try to remove all Add-Ins from the table and copy them again from the Cronus Company.

    Regards

    Joe

    Hello,

Make sure the visibility parameter is not conditioned by the client type. Some objects do not work or are not displayed by default if the client used is the web client.

    Thank you for your help.

No problem with the visibility parameter (= <True>), I will try to delete the add-ins and replace them.

I thought it was a problem of setup as it works with Cronus company or with a new company but not with the one I did upgrade from previous versions.

I will keep you in touch

Make sure you have JavaScript manifest imported.

Go to Control Add-ins and import it there. If it's empty - take cronus database, export control from there and import it to yours.

    Good luck.

    Hi Vincent Moitry,

Did you find solution to the chart not getting displayed in web client.

Cause we are also having the same in Dynamics NAV 2016.
