Inactive bank account is showing as inactive error when selected in Vendor Payment Journal

Hi,

Good day!

Anyone who can help me to resolve the error: XXXXXX bank account is inactive. Select an active bank account. But the vendor bank account set-up is already active. Please see below:

    Hi Sharlene,

    Change the bank account 'Active date' to 5/18/2022 and validate the Journal again.

    Hey there! I had a similar issue before with my bank account showing as inactive even though it was already active. It was quite frustrating as I needed to use the account for a vendor payment but kept getting the error message that the bank account was inactive. I tried contacting my bank, but they were unable to resolve the issue.
    Fortunately, I stumbled upon some helpful information on Banking & Finance for UK companies that might be useful for you. Check out this link: https://www.businessfinanced.co.uk. They have some good points that might help you resolve your issue. In my case, I had to update some of the information on my bank account and make sure that it was linked correctly to my vendor payment journal.
