Getting dynamic field value in Email template

Hi everyone,

Can anyone please tell me that In email template can we show related entity record (like subgrid).

    Not an Out of the box template capability.

    Several alternatives do exist:

    • Use a product such as Documents Corepack 
    • Put tags in the template, and have a plugin parse the email and replace/populate the tags (not recommended as email is a heavy usage entity)

    Not template

    • Use Power Automate Flow (not really a template).  You can create an email message with related records in a table.
    • Use Dynamics 365 Workflow with custom workflow activity to retrieve and format related records

    Hi Vipin,

    We have an addon Email Template Editor for Dynamics 365 CRM. Using this you can easily create responsive email templates just by drag and drop. I am not sure where it has the feature of showing related entity records in the Email template. But we can do a custom development for this.
