Emails diverted to "Undeliverable" folder in Outlook after configuring Server-Side Sync on Exchange Online

After Configuring the Server-Side Sync between Exchange Online and CRM Online I now see a new Subfolder called "Undeliverable" in my Outlook Inbox and  some new incoming mails are randomly getting delivered there. These emails and senders have nothing to with CRM. This looks to be a weird issue.

Has anyone experienced the same problem?

    Hi Semsel,

did you findd a solution to this problem? I ran into the same situation and only deactivating Server Side Sync gets me rid of the undeliverable folder in the inbox of some of my users.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Regards

    Andreas

    Hi Andreas,

    Unfortunately, No.

MS Support is still investigating this case.

I will post here the resolution if I hear from them.

    Hi Sameera,

I faced this problem in one of the projects, it was due to the following

    1. If the Attachment size in the mails is greater than 5 mb. Check mails in the undeliverable folder.

    2. Are u using any AutoNumbering solution.

You will have to make changes in the registry and webconfig for the 1st problem and if 2nd is also there then configure it to run on only the desired entities in the plugin registration tool.

Thanks Surmeet, But none of the above points hold good for my case. The mails coming to this folder does not have any attachment and has nothing to do with CRM.

I have the exact same issue.   I just found more than 500 emails in this Undeliverable folder, all emails that I have received but went there instead of the Inbox.  I see no reason why it got there as I 1)got the email 2)people copied on those messages that were still on Outlook client got the emails fine.

    Hi Folks,

yes i found a solution to this problem. In the settings for the configuration of Server-Sidy Sync in CRM Online there is a little Checkbox where you can say that all Mail CRM or the Server-Side sync could not treat should be moved to the folder Undeliverable. Uncheck this and no more mails are moved into this folder and you can delete it safely from your inbox after moving or deleting the mails in there.

You'll find it in: (ist my own Translation because I only got a german UI)

Settings -> E-Mail Settings -> E-Mail Serverprofile -> Advanced and then uncheck Move failed E-Mails to folder Undeliverable.

This is true for all of my clients who faced this issue.

Regards and let me know if it helped.

We have the same problem that e-mail is placed in the undelivarable folder. The e-mail is not related to CRM. We do have the option unchecked to move failed e-mails, but it does not solve the problem.

    Any other ideas?

Same here, it is not the failed emails that I'm having in the undeliverable folder and not related to CRM, just some random emails from the inbox.
