Issues with Implementing the Adaptive Card Control

Hi everybody,

I am currently evaluating use cases for adaptive cards in our system. During my research, I came across the Microsoft Learn article on the Adaptive Card Control for Finance and Operations (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/fin-ops-core/dev-itpro/user-interface/adaptive-cards).

While following the tutorial I unfortunately encountered issues while trying to build and execute the code.
Has anyone successfully implemented adaptive cards in their system? If so, I would greatly appreciate any insights or guidance on how you achieved this. Additionally, I would like to know if it is even possible to integrate adaptive cards into finance and operations.

Hi @Martin Dráb,

my main problem at the moment ist that i cannot find the Adaptive Card controll while designing my form. When I am trying to select "New > Adaptive Card" just as it is described in the screenshot below, I don't get the option to select Adatptive Card.

Is it possible that I have to download a library or something else to make this controll appear.

A few ideas:

Your version is lower than 10.0.42.

Your model doesn't have a reference to Application Foundation.

You're trying to add the control at a place where it isn't allowed.

I do see it in my 10.0.42 environment.

Hi @Martin Dráb,

my Problem was the missing reference to the Application Foundation. I have now succesfully implemented the example project from Microsoft.
