Default AX Excel file export format to Legal, Landscape, and scale to all columns on page.

Hello all,

Many users in our company export AX data to Excel and it is not presented in a readily printable format, making it necessary for the user to manually format the data each time they export report data from AX into Excel. The additional formatting steps are inconvenient and take time and effort for the user to make the report viewable and printable (each and every time!!)

We would like the default AX Excel file format be set programmatically to include following default layout properties:
a) default Page Size set to Legal size paper

b) the page orientation set to Landscape (not portrait)

c) Print property of the worksheet to be set scale so that all columns fit the width of the page.

I an stumped... please help, many thanks.

Hi cps,

The "Export to Microsoft Excel" button is written in the method "SendToExcel". It seems that we cannot overwrite this method.
