Hi All,

I've created a web form with five steps which is being shown for authenticated user (after logging in) which the user can use submit their details. Now that, I would like to show the same page on Profile so that the details entered previously can be captured here and those details can be update later if needed.

Could you please let me know how this can be done.

Thank you for you answer in advance!

Regards,

Leo

Hi Leo, is your web form based on a Contact record?

if yes, all you need is adding the fields into the "Profile Web Form" through normal CRM customizations

if your web form is based on a different entity, I am assuming you do have a relationship to the contact somewhere, you can have a CRM workflow to update the contact fields (you might also consider another workflow the other way around, when a user updates via profile page, update your web form related record)

    Hi Oliver,

Thank you very much for taking time to answer my question.

Thing is that we have 2 portal tagged to the same CRM instance where one portal implementation was already done and is live now and I'm designing another portal which is Partner Portal. If I do any customization on Profile web form from CRM side, then it shows in both profile page. As I learned, there is a separate form available for Partner portal (Partner Registration web form) that I'm using here while Profile web form is used for Community Portal.

Here comes my questions, If I link this form with Entity Form, then I'm able to see details entered while registration and user is able to update that details from profile. But, I've have a business logic to design this as Multi tab (knida go next and previous page) where I have linked the same CRM form but it doesn't show up the registration data in profile. Could you please let me know how this can be done.

Thanks alot for your response in advance!

    Regards,

    Leo

hi Leo, perfect leave the Profile Web Form to your Community Portal

and use a different one for your partner portal, make sure to change your Web Page (partner portal) to use the "Full Page" Page Template, and assign an Entity Form to the Web Page, this Entity Form should point to your Contact form (different than profile web form)

Now from what I get, you need a Web Form to your registration process, I would create a new "Registration Form" under the contact entity and each form TAB would be represented by a step in your Web Form, once you are designing your web form you can set each individual tab to a particular tab in your CRM form

Your profile form (for partner portal) can also have the fields, or maybe display them as read-only if you don't want them to change

basically you need 3 CRM forms

    - Profile Web Form --> Community Portal

    - "Partner Profile Web Form" --> Partner Portal

    - "Registration Form" --> Partner Portal / Registration process

    Hi Oliver,

I've made the form as Edit mode and have applied the things you suggested here. Now that, I'm able to link the same page to Profile and can update the details also.

There is an option called Parent Account at Profile page in Partner portal. I'm prompted with error that this record is no available when I click on this one. Can you please tell me what sort of setting I need to do here.

Also, I would to have Application Status on this custom page which should dynamically gets changed after submitting and acted by Portal Admin. I understand that this was done with the help of Content Snippets in OOB form and would like the same to be appeared on the custom page as well.

Could you please help me how this can be done.

    Leo

hi Leo, I am not sure about the parent account issue you were facing, I don't have a partner portal handy here to test it myself

the application status bar should you can achieve through a few different ways, you can have a snippet to design the HTML and via a combination of JS and Liquid you can set the status title in the bar
