Dear Members,

We are using Dynamics NAV 2016 version and SO is updated by third party application using NAV WEB SERVICE.

In NAV Server database, the SO's POSTING DATE is automatically changed by day before data.

We checked nav server Time Zone setup (with UTC, Default Server Zone, and specific time zone which is used by server and client that app is working.) NO EFFECT.

What other would be the reason this issue, please, help.

What is the time scheduled for the update? Does the 3rd party software feeds the SO realtime or is it scheduled e.g. once per night? What is the time zone of the server that runs this 3rd party software?

Have  you checked, if any validation (technical coding) is put on the published webservice in NAV?

Thank you for your reply, Alexander.

Time schedule 10AM-10PM every 15minutes. Time zone for all PC's (server, client, client with 3rd party software) is same Ulaanbaatar Standard Time, UTC+(08:00).

    Dear Vishal,

The app  is reading and updating SO web service info.

I don't understand what exactly you are saying validation? Could you please clarify?

    Ariuka

Is it so that all the SO are with the wrong date or only part of them?

I mean, is there anything written in the SO Web Service in NAV, which is changing the Posting Date?

Is there any validation written in Sales Header in NAV, which is changing the posting date?

What if you pass the date + 1D from Third Party Application? Will it resolve your issue?

All the SO date is change to one day before. I'm just guessing reason would be ISP, because of ISP's time zone web service value is change to '-1D'.

    Could it be possible?

In theory, yes, but it depends on how the web-service is organized... If you are not able to resolve it, try adding +1D to the created documents by NAV means.

Yes, that could be reason. Better you ask your them to add +1D, or change the coding in your NAV Web Service.
