Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Archived)

Updated from Web Service Sales Order POSTING DATE is changed '-1D'!!!

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Dear Members,

We are using Dynamics NAV 2016 version and SO is updated by third party application using NAV WEB SERVICE.

In NAV Server database, the SO's POSTING DATE is automatically changed by day before data.

We checked nav server Time Zone setup (with UTC, Default Server Zone, and specific time zone which is used by server and client that app is working.) NO EFFECT.

What other would be the reason this issue, please, help.

Check following link and see if you can do some changes in regional settings.

Ask the third party to use the proper timezone while passing the data to your system.

Yes, that could be reason. Better you ask your them to add +1D, or change the coding in your NAV Web Service.

In theory, yes, but it depends on how the web-service is organized... If you are not able to resolve it, try adding +1D to the created documents by NAV means.

All the SO date is change to one day before. I'm just guessing reason would be ISP, because of ISP's time zone web service value is change to '-1D'.

    Could it be possible?

I mean, is there anything written in the SO Web Service in NAV, which is changing the Posting Date?

Is there any validation written in Sales Header in NAV, which is changing the posting date?

What if you pass the date + 1D from Third Party Application? Will it resolve your issue?

    Ariuka

Is it so that all the SO are with the wrong date or only part of them?

    Dear Vishal,

The app  is reading and updating SO web service info.

I don't understand what exactly you are saying validation? Could you please clarify?
