Licensing for Requisition Management Workflow 2.0 (GP 2013 R2)

Hello:

The blog from the URL, below, says that you do not have to be a licensed GP user to approve requisitions through e-mail via GP Web Services for GP 2013 R2.

Does that mean that the only licensing that is required is for the user that enters the requisitions but not for the user that approves them?

Thanks!

John

What type of license type will they need; full, limited  or self service?

    Hi John,

Ideally yes, since they will now be required to login to GP (web or desktop client) upon clicking the hyperlink.

    Hi There:

I, actually, have a follow-up question.  What if the person conducting the approval of the requisition through e-mail wants to click the hyperlink in the e-mail to view the requisition.

At that point, would that user need to be a licensed user in GP 2013 R2?

Yes. Licensing required for the user who entered requisitions in GP and approver can approve through email via GP web services.

    Hope this helps!!!
