Dears,

I have an issue when trying to open AX 2012 R3 CU9 Retail POS after installing MS hotfix KB 3133188 ("Error number: 1 The application could not be initialized ")

Event viewer error description is :

"LSRetailPosis.POS.Program: System.ArgumentException: Column 'FISCALAUDITINGREQUIRED' does not belong to table .

at System.Data.DataRow.GetDataColumn(String columnName)

at System.Data.DataRow.get_Item(String columnName)

at LSRetailPosis.Settings.ApplicationSettings.LoadSettingsForTerminal(Terminal terminal)

at LSRetailPosis.Settings.ApplicationSettings.InitializeSettings(String[] args)

at LSRetailPosis.POS.Program.InitializeAndLoadPOS(String[] args, Boolean owned, SplashScreenForm splashScreenForm)

Hi Hussein,

If you applied any KB, make sure you have installed all binary components related to KB (such as POS, Client Async, Async Server, Channel DB...)

If that is your scenario, after installing the channel DB KB component, you must upgrade Channel DB.

In some scenarios, you can use the Retail Channel Configuration Utility.

Important: Before performing this procedure, backup your channel database.

1. Select the option "Create/Upgrade Channel DB"

2. Add your Server Name and Channel Database name

3. Apply.
