AX 2009 - Malaysia GST - GAF TXT File Generation

Hi,

 

For one of our customers, we have installed the Malaysia GST hotfix in AX 2009 and the setup is working fine.  Regarding the GAF reporting file generation to be submitted to Tax Authorities, the default format of the output generation is XML.  Is there an option to generate the output in TXT format also?

    Got it clarified from MS that they support XML format only.

    Hi, Anand Mankal. May I have more information about Malaysia GST hotfix in AX 2009? We're going to use AX 2009 in Malaysia but I don't have enough information.

    I haven't found this option. According to the requirements, either XML or TXT would work.

    Thought the Malaysian Tax Authorities are fine with either XML or TXT format, AX has option to generate XML only.

    All,

    I have installed the hotfix as shared by you guys - and I do see the GST section under SalesTax tab(In GL Parameters). But where do I generate the GAF file from?

    I have already spent almost an hour searching for the report - where do I find that report.

    Note: I have enabled the checkboxes in the GL parameters.
