Stocked product converting to nonstock product (Services)

Dear Members,

I'm in a process of converting stocked items to non stock service items but after recalculation and conversion those service items still showing on the inventory value report with zero value and zero quantity

I want to make sure is is there any ways to remove it from the inventory value report or it's standard ?

Below is the process that I have done for conversion items

01)  Make inventory on hand as zero by movement journal

02) Recalculated the inventory

03) Removed the BOM versions from the item

04) Created the new item module group as temporary

05) Convert the items to service by JOB

06) Product information management > Setup > Conversion > Convert to products not stocked

but still showing converted items on inventory value report with Zero value

Kindly advise is there anything I missed on this Process or as standard it will show in the value report

Your responses highly appreciated

Thank you

    Hi,

Do you still see historical inventory transactions for the items in the inventtrans table?

Wouldn't it have been easier stopping the existing items from usage and creating completely new ones?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Ludwing,

    Thank you for your reply

Yes still showing the historical transaction on inventtrans table

These are F&B menu items we have some integration with another system therefore we can't create new items

    Thank you

    Hi M Silmi,

I guess the historical transactions are responsible for why you still see things in the report.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
