Hey Guys,

Hope you had a nice weekend everyone! :)

I have a quick question, for anyone that can help me! :)

We had setup Job Queue 1509, SMTP Mail Setup, Notification Setup and Approval User Setup's Email.

But our Approver still not able to receive Approval Email Notification!!

Any idea on what could be wrong? Also, which path should I follow to check this issue?

Thanks a lot!

Ganesh

Make sure "Notification Method" in the notification setup  is "Email",

you can check if any error message on following place :

    1. Job queue log entries for job codeunit 1509

    2. "Error Message" field in Notification Entry table (table ID 1511)

Check if the SMPT Mail Setup is correct. Try to send test email from there.

Check also if the User Setup - Email Address is correctly filled in.

    Hi Teddy!!

No luck on the solution provided.. SMTP Mail Setup is correct and test email success.

User Setup all email address filled in.

    Any idea beside this?

    Thanks for the try!!

What happen if you change the SMTP Mail Setup to something like google email ?

If it works, there might be something in your office365 setup that is missing, such as Send As or Send on Behalf.

If I am not mistaken, I remember reading somewhere a couple of months back that you need to set up the sender account with Send As permission in the admin center.
