How to add a Tax Code

(0) ShareShare

I am relatively new to Dynamic CRM.

I would like to setup some tax codes, but for the life of me I cannot find where I need to do that.

I can see the entity listed and I have added it to Sales, Service, Marketing,Training and Settings, but I do not see it listed anywhere.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Rob

    Hi Rob1,

We need to add "Tax Code" in to the site map.

Go to Advanced Settings > My Apps, open the app designer of Sales Hub.

    Edit Site Map.

Select a group (such as Collateral) and add a Subarea.

For the new subarea, select the Entity to "Tax Code". Finally Save and Publish.

You will find that "Tax Code" is in the Sales Hub.

    Hi Rob,

If you are using Unified interface, you need to add the Tax code entity to the App. As Explain by Lu.

    Thanks

    Hello,

    Thanks for your feedback!

I tried to follow your suggestions, unfortunately I have no Sales Hub but only "Sales Professional" and "Sales Team Member". When I follow the same procedure on Sales Professional I get an error (see screen)

    Hi Philippe,

Tax Code is the entity of Dynamics 365 Field Service. If you don't have Field Service installed, then you cannot see it.

You will need Field Service apps to add the Tax code entity to Sales hub
