Restriction to view specific Journal Name to only group of people or user Group

Hi Friends,

I have a specific requirement on restriction on viewing Journal names, can AX functionality can restrict to view only specific journal names on General journal? as know “Block users for Private user” configuration is not working, any other suggestion please? Currently all the business user’s financial management and financial accounting teams can view all the journals (Name’s i.e. GEN, Payroll, customers and Accruals) in General Journals.
I’m aware we can control and restrict POSTING journals for specific user or group, but currently viewing can be done by all the users and we want to restrict view for specific Journal name of users or Groups ?

You can do things like these with Extensible data security (XDS).

Hi Shail,

Using blocking rules for journal names will restrict the view of journal names only when a non-group user is trying to create a new journal. However, if a transaction is already created and is in draft mode, you cannot restrict access to that view.

You need to do some customization to achieve that.
