Recently, I explored this great loking feature. On the smartphone, when creating a new contact, you click the bottun, use the camera to take a picture of a business card and the fields will be filled automatically.
However, the results are quite disappointing:
- streets don't show up the German format, starting with street name, followed by (house) number
- contact first name, last name are not identified if they are written in two lines
- company names are not identified and need to be selected manually later
Overall, there are lots of significant and minor weaknesses, so I do not think that this feature is "user ready" yet
What are your experiences so far?

I would suggest to raise a support request with Microsoft to evaluate the root cause of what you are facing.
There could be an issue with the prediction on your specific organization and further investigation would be required.
