Hi,
We are now having to replace our personalisations for new starters with Saved Views and I was wondering if there is a way that published saved views can override the standard view or the standard view can be removed and replaced with a saved view?
Any help would be gratefully received.

Hi Sean,
As Girish mentioned, you cannot hide or delete the standard view, but you can always use personal view and assign to users.
You can write an idea on MS idea portal for this suggestion.

So you are saying the new user will be only using publish saved views. You want to hide the standard view from the user, so the user cannot see the hidden fields form the standard view.
I don't think this is possible. There is already a blog related to that post.

Hi,
The existing personalisations will remain in place, however all new employees will have Published Saved Views to do the same thing. The concerning thing is that the Standard View allows the user to have visibility of what is being hidden in the new view. We want to be able to stop that and only allow the user to use the Published Saved View.
