Content Blocks- edits reflected in associated emails?

I am creating a dynamic content block that will serve the correct sales member based on the recipients location. I have the content block saved and ready to send, but notices a change. I went in and made a creative change to one of the pieces but noted it didn't reflect the change in any of the emails it was pulled into.

Once live- can you make changes and have them be reflected in any email where the content block is being used?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi partner,

    Hope you are well.

Updating a content block does not update any emails that are using that content block. Each time a content block is inserted into an email, that email gets a copy of the content block that is no longer connected or associated with the original content block.

When a content block is updated (from Assets > Content blocks), check the Settings pane. It will show all emails and templates that use the content block to alert you which emails and templates will need to be updated.

    Hey KaitlynR,

if you made changes on the conent blocks they are put into DRAFT state. Subsequently, you save the content blocks and send them back to "Ready to send" state. Those changes wont be in content block elements in existing emails, you would have to re-drag them into the email to apply them.
