Segment based on Topics & Purpose

Hoping someone sees this and replies.
 
I have a CIJ app that is on v1.1.43992.119 which is the latest as of 22/07/24 today. I am trying to create a segment where contacts have opted in to a particular Topic, which is done via a Form that I created. The form submission works and analytics confirm this. A new contact is created, along with Consent records, however 2 things are not updating. 1) the Contact doesn't appear in the Segment (waited hours) and 2) on the Contact record there is no update to say what Topic I consented to. Still showing as not consenting to anything.
 
Current Segment reads 
  • Purpose Name (Topics and Purposes) = X (using a compliance profile) AND
  • Topic Name (Topics and Purposes) Will Send = Y

The above doesn't work at all. So now I'm trying to reach out to the msdynmkt_contactpointconsent4 table as mentioned by Microsoft here https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customer-insights/journeys/real-time-marketing-email-text-consent, so I can say if the Contact has a Contact Point Consent record where Purpose=X, Topic=Y and Consent Status=Z, however I cannot see this table listed within the Segment area when I add a new one.

The environment originally had the old Marketing App including Outbound Marketing, this app is the one updated to the above version. Don't know if the 'update' of the app hasn't worked or is broken.

Has anyone else experienced this and how did they create this very simple segment?
